CNC Operator - Cary, IL |


Our client, a precision manufacturing company in Cary, IL, is seeking a skilled CNC Operators to join their team. In this role, you will prepare, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling centers to manufacture high-precision parts.

CNC Operator Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm


2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 3:30pm - 2:00am

Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00/hr (Based on experience) +15% shift differential for 2nd shift

CNC Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC turning centers and milling centers to fabricate close-tolerance precision parts
• Prepare machines by studying routers, blueprints, drawings, samples, and manuals
• Install and run computerized CNC instructions per work orders
• Verify parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and edge finders
• Perform in-process inspections, quality tests, and operational checks
• Document work by completing required forms, reports, logs, and sign-offs
• Deburr and handle parts to customer specifications

CNC Operator Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job routers
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders)
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic machine skills
