Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Coos Bay, OR, over an 8+ week contract. Working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, you will be crucial in delivering exceptional pharmacy services within a setting managed by Omnicell technology.

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to advise patients empathetically and confidentially
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations and commitment to continuous improvement
• Knowledge of specialty disease areas such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted pharmacist and advisor, enhancing community well-being through personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting
• Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications by fostering strong collaborative relationships with local physicians and the medical community
• Utilize and support Omnicell pharmacy management systems to optimize pharmacy workflow and patient outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Promote ongoing learning and leadership within the pharmacy team to elevate service quality and operational efficiency
