We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and motivated Music Habilitation Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will use music-based activities and instruction to support individuals in developing life skills, communication, social interaction, self-expression, and overall independence. Key Responsibilities:- 1. Provide habilitation services through structured music activities and engagement
- 2. Support individuals in developing communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills through music
- 3. Create individualized music-based activities based on each person’s goals and abilities
- 4. Encourage participation, creativity, confidence, and positive social interaction
- 5. Monitor progress and document services provided in a timely and accurate manner
- 6. Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other team members to support individual goals
- 7.Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment during sessions
- 8. Ensure compliance with all program, professional, ethical, and legal standards
- 1. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred
- 2. Background in music, music instruction, music performance, or related field referred
- 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 5. Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to service delivery
- 6. Must meet all applicable state and agency requirements for habilitation service providers
