You will work closely with other members of IT including other developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions to meet business requirements, and will also interact with members of our Investment Platform in architecting world-class research and collaboration capabilities.In this role, you will help drive the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLM) into investment research processes and workflows. This includes contributing to systems that leverage LLM-powered reasoning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), enterprise-scale knowledge management, and intelligent automation to enhance research depth, improve discovery of information, and streamline the flow of insights across the investment lifecycle.You will be faced with compelling challenges and encouraged to solve problems by using innovative techniques. You will work with and learn from exceptional technology and business professionals through cross-platform, data driven projects and assignments.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the delivery of high-quality investment research and solutions, including participating in architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment and supportWork with business teams, engineers and business analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plansParticipate in creation of new prototypes and develop new software components based on functional specifications across the full stack – services, web and mobile clients, infrastructure and back-endCoordinate with analysts, engineers, and QE resources to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testingModify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize for performance and maintainabilityAuthor technical design and support documentationQualifications5 years demonstrated experience designing and developing web applications and services using JavaScript or other relevant enterprise technologies (e.g., Java,.Net)5 years demonstrated experience designing and developing complex web services using REST, TypeScript, JavaScript/NodeJS, Jest, Java, Python or related technologies5 years demonstrated experience designing and developing web applications using HTML5, CSS and modern UI frameworks such as React or AngularExperience with modern software development and testing methodologies such as Artifactory, GIT, and Jenkins CIExperience developing applications with AWS cloud technologiesIntermediate-level experience with SQLExperience with various software development methodologies, such as AgileFamiliarity leveraging AI in SDLCDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a non-technical audienceExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to manage conflicting priorities effectivelyDemonstrated ability to understand complex concepts and to learn quicklyAbility and willingness to work effectively in a business-critical production environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility and willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBS or BA degree in computer science, math, physics, statistics or another related subjectExperience in a relevant financial domain is a plusNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications?
