Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in Houston, TX. Support physicians and Cath Lab personnel performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels. This role is based in a hospital setting with a high-volume cath lab performing EP, structural heart, and coronary procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Cath lab experience required.
• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent certification relevant to cath lab procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures including coronaries, EP, and structural heart interventions.
• Experience with GE, Philips, and Siemens imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience working with Merge EMR preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-focused environment and be self-motivated.
• Willingness to participate in rotational on-call coverage and weekend call as required by unit staffing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI preferred.
• Electrophysiology (EP) and structural heart procedure experience preferred.
• Prior hospital cath lab experience in a high-volume setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:00.
• Typical day shift staffing: 4 staff on 10-hour schedules, Monday–Friday schedule noted for unit operations.
• Call rotation required for after-hours and weekend coverage.
• Floating: Cath lab pre- and post-procedure areas as needed.
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs.
