About the Position

Internal Medicine Physician

Seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care coverage. The provider will practice at community-based outpatient clinics with a consistent home base between one or two clinic locations and care for patients across the full age spectrum.

Compensation: $170/hr

Schedule


Start Date: Upon credentialing (approximately 12-14 weeks)


Contract Length: 26 weeks


Monday-Friday


Five 8-hour shifts per week


8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (1-2 evening shifts per week)


No call


Part-time availability will be considered, though full-time is preferred

Practice Setting


Outpatient Primary Care Clinic


Provider will have a home base at 1-2 clinic locations within a reasonable commuting distance


Multiple clinic locations throughout the Los Angeles area

Responsibilities


Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care


Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions


Deliver preventive care and wellness visits


Care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients


Collaborate with onsite behavioral health and multidisciplinary support teams

Patient Volume


Approximately 18 patients per day

Licensed Vocational Nurses


Onsite Behavioral Health


Robust multidisciplinary clinical support

Requirements


Board Certified in Internal Medicine


Board Eligible candidates may be considered with a strong explanation and appropriate experience


Active California medical license


DEA


California CSR


BLS and ACLS certifications


Minimum of 2 years of experience


Epic experience required


Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred


Clean malpractice history preferred (minor issues reviewed on a case-by-case basis)

Full-time coverage preferred, though part-time availability will also be considered


No call responsibilities
