Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients
• Interpret EKG readings and titrate medications as necessary (e.g., Cardizem, heparin)
• Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and House Supervisor to ensure patient care standards
• Manage advanced respiratory equipment including Cpap, Bipap, and heated high flow
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Float to other general medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Active IL RN license or confirmation of initiation
• BLS certification
• Experience with EKG interpretation and medication titration
