Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Cardio Thoracic RN for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role invites you to work within a specialized cardiovascular environment, allowing you to leverage your skills in managing complex patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardio Thoracic

• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and post-operative lung surgery
• Interpret EKGs and titrate medications, including Cardizem and heparin
• Collaborate with a team, including charge nurses and PCTs, for efficient patient care
• Engage in equipment management, including Cpap, Bipap, and heated high flow oxygen as needed
• Float to other general medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Cardio Thoracic

• Active IL RN license or confirmation of application process initiation
• BLS certification
• Experience in EKG interpretation and medication titration
• Proficient in using EPIC charting system
