The Research Foundation is hiring a Proposal & Project Manager, Sponsored Projects Services. This role manages the full lifecycle of university research funding proposals, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements while coordinating with researchers, funding agencies, and university offices to support sponsored projects effectively. Highlights Manage research funding proposal requests independently from initiation to completion. Collaborate with researchers and funding agencies to manage a proposal portfolio. Coordinate with internal research administration offices, external sponsors, and university research teams. Analyze sponsor funding opportunities to ensure alignment with budget and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to federal, state, agency, and university policies and regulations related to sponsored research. Partner with budget specialists to review and coordinate budgets and justifications. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for complex information exchange. Exhibit project coordination skills by prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines. Utilize data analysis to evaluate funding opportunities and prepare reports to support project outcomes. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree with three years of experience or equivalent, proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, and experience navigating business systems.
