Work Environment

This position is onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, designed to provide a comfortable and effective setting for physical therapy. In this full-time role, you'll work primarily Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address individual patient goals and needs, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect an understanding of their personal challenges and aspirations.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality and focused attention on each session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs, leveraging your skills to optimize movement and functional recovery.
• Provide treatments that minimize reliance on pain medications and explore non-surgical methods, emphasizing holistic patient care.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their recovery process, fostering resilience and confidence in their abilities to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment processes and outcomes, using electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Promote wellness through the customization of fitness programs that cater to individual patient needs, enhancing strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses on orthopedic outpatient care, servicing a diverse clientele ranging from individuals recovering from surgery to patients with chronic pain conditions. Our therapists are skilled in dealing with complex cases that require a tailored approach to rehabilitation, ensuring each patient receives the highest level of personalized care that aligns with their unique health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required for this position.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic exercise design and implementation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT or similar software, to effectively document and manage patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will significantly enhance your candidacy.
• Experience implementing evidence-based clinical practices and a strong foundation in exercise science is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
