Preferred Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license or certification
• Experience providing speech-language support in a school or pediatric setting, especially with Life Skills (LS) populations
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and professional ethics
• Collaborative attitude and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver guided speech and language therapy interventions as directed by supervising SLP
• Support Life Skills (LS) students in developing communication and social interaction abilities
• Document student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records
• Work alongside SLPs, educators, and support staff to enhance each student's educational experience
• Customize activities to fit students' individual learning needs and IEP goals
• Offer encouragement and insight to empower students every day
