Environmental EngineerWe are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer to join our Omaha/Council Bluffs office. Our team works with communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with Engineers, CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.Benefits available 30 days following date of employment, includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, plus additional supplemental insurancesClothing allowance401k with company matchPaid Time Off and 9 paid holidaysPaid training and development on and off-siteResponsibilitiesParticipate in Business Development, including initiation of client contacts and preparation of project proposals.Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with Master's degree preferred.5-10+ years of environmental engineering design experience.Experience in municipal wastewater treatment and drinking water treatment design and construction.Iowa or Nebraska P.E. license or EIT certification with ability to obtain P.E. license within 1 year preferred.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
