Sales & Marketing Manager
Summary: The Sales & Marketing Manager drives sales growth, generates leads, and secures strong customer relationships through the strategic execution of marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing Strategy: Plan and execute customer outreach, marketing campaigns, and new product launches to drive acquisition and retention. Research cost-effective marketing tactics.
Customer & Industry Engagement: Represent the company at food shows and industry conferences. Visit customers to resolve inquiries, forecast volume, and distribute product samples.
Operations & Production: Coordinate with the Production team to ensure timely order fulfillment. Research new machinery and processes to improve the bottom line.
Compliance & Quality Control: Stay current on industry trends, USDA regulations, and food safety laws. Monitor quality control, product sampling, and nutritional disclosures.
Leadership & Admin: Collaborate with management to set sales targets and finalize contracts. Provide administrative support (e.g., proofreading) and enforce occupational health and safety regulations.
Experience: 5+ years in a sales or marketing role.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Requirements: Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Communication: Excellent written, oral, and reading comprehension skills.
Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and develop realistic solutions independently.
Organization: Strong time management, planning, and attention to detail to meet strict deadlines.
Basic Math: Ability to calculate basic arithmetic without a calculator.
