JOB OVERVIEW:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to address guest and operational needs.
• Manage linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping inventory.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel environment (minimum of 1-2 years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in hotel property management and housekeeping systems preferred.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the hotel's luxury standards, ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members, and supporting the successful operation of Hotel Elysée New York.
