Job Details Job Location: KEMAH, TX 77565 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Facilities Job Overview As a residential Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best. Key Responsibilities Use your four‑plus years of experience in property maintenance to address work orders before issues become major problems. Perform light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and work on HVAC systems. Apply relevant certifications (EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) to take on complex repair and maintenance work. Proactively address routine maintenance and general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse. Engage with residents positively and efficiently when working in their units and around the property. Maintain a safe working and living environment with a safety‑first approach to everything you do. Work full‑time Monday through Friday; provide occasional on‑call hours as set by the Property Management team. Maintain your own tool kit and, when necessary, use a company‑owned or personal vehicle to move about the property or travel off‑site. Possess a valid driver’s license. Qualifications Treat all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care. Show attention to detail, ensuring jobs are completed exemplary and hazards are not overlooked. Familiarity with a variety of tools and materials needed to maintain residential buildings. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to meet goals and deadlines. Ability to function well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality. Technical degree in a related field or other relevant certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) preferred. Prior experience in general building maintenance, painting, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing in a commercial residential environment. Prior experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. Ages 18 or older. Must own tools. Valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, plus scheduled on‑call hours and occasional weekends. Occasionally drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle for business. Able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25pounds; occasionally up to 50pounds. Able to manipulate tools, use hands, and control equipment, with adequate vision. Able to move about the property, stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various weather conditions.
