Residential Life Director – PGSS 2026 Residential Life Director (or co‑directors) for the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences (PGSS) summer enrichment program. The role is full‑time, hourly, and fixed‑term. Program Dates Arrival of Residence Life Staff: Sunday, June 14, 2026 Residence Life Staff Training: Week of June 15 – 18, 2026 Student Arrival & Opening Ceremony: Sunday, June 21, 2026 Student Departure: Saturday, July 25, 2026 Departure of TA/Counselor Staff: Sunday, July 26, 2026 Core Responsibilities Oversee 12‑15 TAs/Counselors, ages 18‑25. Live in the same dormitory as PGSS students. Ensure adherence to PGSS disciplinary rules. Plan, coordinate, and lead social activities. Foster a safe, collaborative living and learning environment. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Prior experience with PGSS or a similar summer program (preferred). Graduated from college or university by the start of the program. Relevant education and experience demonstrating comparable knowledge. Requirements Successful background check. Child Protection Clearances (Act 153).
