As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Concierge in Westlake, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, following site-specific procedures, and helping to address security-related questions or concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in processes, issuing badges or credentials, and/or documenting arrivals and departures according to post guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Answer phones, direct calls, receive deliveries, and maintain front desk activity logs, reports, and other records related to security-related operations.
• Observe lobby and entry activity for unusual behavior, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate notable issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license, as required by state and/or local laws.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
