As a Security Officer Medical Campus Rover in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role calls for strong communication, professionalism, and a people-first mindset, along with a reliable, innovative approach and integrity in every security-related interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with routine security-related presence in patient care and public areas while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and courteous interactions with a diverse population.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• This is a primarily driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
