Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the Emergency Department located in an unspecified location. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care, including assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and ensuring rapid triage for all patients entering the emergency care system. The position emphasizes clinical assessment, collaboration, and compliance with established protocols, with ongoing training on dysrhythmia recognition.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Licensed registered nurse with clinical experience in emergency care, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the last twelve (12) months, and passing a Basic Dysrhythmia test out during orientation.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Job Responsibilities: Self-study of telemetry strips and dysrhythmia recognition, passing a test during orientation is mandatory to work in the emergency department. Travel nurses may be occasionally placed on call with response expected within one hour.
• Unit Description: Shift includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The nurse may be required to respond to calls during low census periods.
