Innovation Strategy Manager (Corporate Strategy team)

Overview At Bose Corporation, the Corporate Strategy team shapes the company’s future. The role sits within the Research Labs Catalyst Team, collaborating with executives, technical research professionals, and commercial leaders to identify, pitch, and shape high‑potential innovation opportunities, advance early‑stage proof‑of‑concept experiments, and make business investment recommendations. The position offers rapid exposure to all facets of the business and career growth potential within the group. Responsibilities Work directly with stakeholders and team members to identify, scope, and prioritize work within a portfolio framework. Gather data from relevant sources, identify key issues and strategy questions, develop hypotheses, and lead problem solving. Conduct rigorous analysis using primary and secondary research; use strategy frameworks to structure complex data. Lead workshops and problem‑solving sessions. Construct business cases, model alternative scenarios as needed, and collaborate with others. Create and deliver concise, impactful presentations to stakeholders, including senior executives. Help lead monthly project reviews and quarterly portfolio business reviews. Develop subject‑matter/domain expertise in relevant technology and market areas. Foster best practices and advance the team’s capabilities through continuous improvement. Participate in peer reviews of other projects; provide thoughtful critique to strengthen work. Build strong working relationships with executives, colleagues, and senior leaders throughout the company. Support the Business Development and Corporate Development teams to identify and analyze potential targets and conduct due diligence as needed. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or directly relevant strategy experience in technology and innovation. Prior experience working in a technology startup, incubator, growth‑stage venture, or corporate research lab setting, or equivalent experience in applying strategy to corporate technology and innovation investments. Prior experience in audio, consumer electronics, digital media, or a related technology field is a definite plus. Undergraduate degree in a business or technical discipline; MBA strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in strategic problem solving, conceptual thinking, logic, and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to draw insights and conclusions. Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills. Well‑rounded business acumen with a solid understanding of financial concepts and ability to construct and analyze business plans and models. Great interpersonal skills and situational awareness; active listening; influence without authority; ability to work effectively with diverse teams at all levels. Team oriented, energetic self‑starter with a positive attitude and good judgment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and often against tight deadlines in a dynamic environment; able to juggle multiple projects at once. Strong "owner mindset" with accountability for results. Compensation & Benefits The hiring range for this position in Framingham, Massachusetts is $151,000–$207,550. Compensation includes base pay, bonus programs, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) plan, and other rewards, plus a generous employee discount.
