Description - What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests across multiple disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols with expertise.
• Scrutinize test results for accuracy, address any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Document procedures thoroughly, mentor and train new personnel or interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and hygienic workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment period.
