Description - Your Role Unfolds Here

• Carry out standard and specialized clinical laboratory tests-spanning areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Analyze test results meticulously for accuracy, diagnose errors, and conduct preventative maintenance as well as calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and, when necessary, prepare samples for testing.
• Document all laboratory procedures comprehensively, mentor new staff and students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while observing all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
