JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting the HR team and employees.

Working hours for this position will be 3pm-11pm. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding process, including preparing necessary paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
• Maintain and update HR records and databases, including employee files, attendance records, and HRIS systems.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics and initiatives.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in HR or related administrative role.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work in and out of cold environment. 
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must wear required PPE.  
• Lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Stand for majority of shift, up to 8 hrs. at a time.   

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

• Work will primarily be performed in a typical office setting.
• The office environment is climate-controlled and generally low to moderate in noise level.
