Guaranteed 72 hours per two-week period. Block scheduling available upon request. Highlights: Work in a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital serving both acute care and long-term care patients Diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopedic/spine, urology, and laparoscopic procedures Epic charting system in a 46-bed acute care facility with supportive interdisciplinary team Housing provided during assignment at no cost in one-bedroom apartments Free parking and casual dress code or scrubs of choice First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of OR experience Requirements: Current RN license (Compact license accepted and must be active at time of submission) Minimum one year of Operating Room nursing experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Epic charting experience preferred Skills in diverse surgical procedures including thoracotomy, general surgery, orthopedic cases, and urological procedures Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and wound management Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Two professional references covering one year within the last three years Commitment to work three of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers a unique chance to practice in a critical access hospital where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of surgical cases while serving a vital role in the community.
