Job Summary:
The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography procedures, assisting in CT-guided interventions while ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging. This role requires critical thinking, technical proficiency, and effective communication across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies following physician protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, assessing safety and cooperation prior to procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media or medications with attention to safety and efficacy.
• Document all procedures and patient care accurately within electronic health records and manage digital image transfer via PACS.
• Educate patients, address concerns, and provide support throughout the imaging process.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and institutional policies to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Possess CA CRT and Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire, along with ARRT (R) credential.
• Hold a valid CA license and current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and digital systems like PACS.
• Show minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience, preferably in an acute care environment.
• Successful graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
• Maintain current certifications in venipuncture and contrast media administration.
