Details Non‑Invasive Cardiology unit in an acute care hospital setting Perform a variety of diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Saturday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Saturday shifts may be full or half day based on hospital needs) On‑call shifts every 4 weeks, including holiday call coverage Epic EMR used for charting Requirements RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required Active AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start Minimum 1 year of experience in echocardiography/cardiac sonography required High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform ultrasound procedures using high‑frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for disease diagnosis Review patient history, select appropriate protocols, position patients, and ensure quality diagnostic imaging Coordinate preparation of images and documentation for physician review Monitor equipment reliability and safety, report issues, and maintain supply inventory Participate in quality initiatives related to patient satisfaction, care, and workflow Transport patients as needed Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment Benefits Premium medical, dental, vision and life insurance beginning day one of your assignment Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipends 24/7 support and access to in‑house clinicians Contact American Traveler Job ID #P-721989L.
