Social Media Content Intern

Summary: Provides assistance to the Marketing Division with Social Media Content.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesShoot and edit short-form videos and photos.Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.Find interesting stories and turn them into engaging social content.Highlight Goodwill's people, programs, stores, events and community impact.Write captions and create simple graphics.Research trends and bring fresh content ideas.Support campaigns and the social content calendar.Education and Experience:Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.A creative eye and strong sense of storytelling.Experience creating social media content.Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar tools.Strong writing and communication skills.Organized, reliable and comfortable working independently.Comfortable visiting Goodwill locations to capture content.Spanish proficiency is a plus.Reliable transportation.Will travel to Broward locations as needed.Certifications – Associate, BA Degree in Marketing or Marketing student preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities: N/ACompetencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems promptly, develops alternative solutions, and uses reason even when dealing with emotionally charged topics.Communication and customer services - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
