Data Entry SpecialistLocation: Schaumburg, IL - 4 days in office and 1 Day Remote/WFH Duration: 2-3 Month Contract Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30 hours per weekTalentFish is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a 4-days onsite, 1-day WFH temporary assignment supporting our premier client. This role focuses on reviewing invoices and accurately entering data into Excel. It's ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to stay organized while working through high volumes of information.ResponsibilitiesReview invoices and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.Enter invoice data into Excel spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.Organize and maintain spreadsheets, files, and records so information is easy to find and use.Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and flag it to the team.Follow up with internal teams as needed to gather or clarify information.Review completed entries with the team to ensure accuracy and consistency.Track deadlines and keep work on schedule.Provide additional administrative support as assigned.QualificationsExcellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and formatting).Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Administrative, accounts payable, or invoice processing experience is a plus, but not required.What You'll BringExceptional attention to detail.Reliable follow-through and accountability.Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.Comfort working through repetitive, detail-heavy tasks without losing accuracy.Brief training/onboarding will be provided on the client's invoice review process and data entry standards. Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
