Additional Comments : Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge, skills, and abilities:• Demonstrated experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Administration (1 year to 2 years).• Demonstrated experience in installation, upgrade, and maintenance of enterprise level application servers is strongly preferred.• Demonstrated experience in the following technologies:o PeopleSoft 9.2 server administrationo Oracle WebLogic/Tuxedo administrationo Oracle Policy Administration (OPA) and Policy Modelingo PeopleSoft Process Schedulero Oracle OAS/ORDSo Oracle Apex administrationo PHIRE change control software and architectureo ERP testing tools such as Load Runner or TOSCA• Demonstrated experience ascertaining the various methods available to accomplish maintenance tasks and determining which methods to use under varying conditions.• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting applications, network communications and storage communications problems, utilizing diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems.• Demonstrated experience with quickly getting up to speed on new technology and effectively researching solutions to issues under narrow time constraints.• Demonstrated experience tracking and resolving problems impacting system operations.• Demonstrated experience documenting procedures pertaining to server maintenance, configurations, change, and release management.• Demonstrated experience addressing new software maintenance requirements and service outages.• Ability to supervise and work well in a team environment toward achieving objectives.• Excellent oral communication, written communication and organizational skills.Telecommuting: The Office of the New York State Comptroller (OSC) supports telecommuting where it is reasonable to do so based upon the agency’s mission and operational needs.
