OPERATIONS MANAGER (EVS) 1st Shift - Washington D.C.

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 Pay Grade: 10 Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, specializes in support services for the healthcare industry, working with many of the Top 100 hospitals across 46 states. Job Summary As an Operations Manager, you will direct and oversee the operational needs of the support services department, coordinating frontline associates and acting as a liaison between administration and unit departments to provide high‑quality service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff. Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services are rendered. Assist in the hiring process, including interviewing, hiring, and training new associates. Orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory and housekeeping staff. Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility. Report monthly on goals, accomplishments, and future plans. Provide staff education and continuous training. Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments. Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling program. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high customer/client contact environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi‑task and establish priorities. Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment. Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership. Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
