Job Description\nAramark is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician 1st Shift to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems within a large facilities environment.\n\nThis is a skilled trades position responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems that support daily facility operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, preventative maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting in institutional, commercial, healthcare, industrial, or campus environments.\n\nThis role is critical to maintaining safe, comfortable, and operational facilities during second shift operations.\n\n \n\nShift Information:\n\nThis is a 1st shift position with the hours of 7:00am- 3:30pm. \n\nEvening and weekend flexibility may be required based on operational or emergency maintenance needs.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nInstalls, inspects, tests, operates, and repairs all refrigeration and related equipment for preserving food, making ice, cooling water, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation.\nCalibrates, repairs, and maintains all pneumatic control systems and related equipment.\nChecks, services, cleans, and replaces filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and documents the same.\nCleans and maintains grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.\nUnderstands and demonstrates knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinates work between/with other trades.\nCompletes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keeps records\nResponds to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required\nMaintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintains and accounts for tools used\nMaintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers\nAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.\n\nQualifications\nHVAC Certification required\nPrevious HVAC experience required\nDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal\nMust be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks\nThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
