Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential Safety & Health and Environmental hazards and take necessary actions to protect Employee Safety & Health and the EnvironmentVisually inspect and electrically test machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with Supervisor or other Maintenance Employees to diagnose problem or repair machineIdentify defective electrical components and repairs and/or wires in new partsUnderstand electrical fundamentals and how to apply themAble to read electrical schematics and use them to troubleshoot equipmentBasic PLC knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot using the PLC programsBasic knowledge of the National Electrical Code and standard electrical construction practicesEffective use of ERP system to order parts and record workAuthorized Powered Industrial Truck OperatorAuthorized Crane OperatorClair-based ONLY: Troubleshoot and perform preventive/reactive maintenance on Laser CutterUnderstand and follow all Company Procedures pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these ProceduresKnowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirementsKnowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our CustomersKnowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirementsAware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performanceAware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvementsOther tasks deemed by Soundwich Management to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our CustomersJob RequirementsRequirements:Strong electrical trouble-shooting skillsGood knowledge of panel-building and integration, single-phase and 3-phase motor controls and installation, press controls, resistance welders, and miscellaneous equipmentPLC trouble-shootingAbility to run conduit neatlyAbility to perform electrical PMsWilling to do mechanical work as neededAbility to draw and read electrical schematics, and use them to troubleshoot electrical problemsInterpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics a plusStrong electrical aptitude and math skillsAbility to determine conduit fills, wire sizes, etc.Knowledge of PLEX ERP a plusValid Driver's LicenseMinimum Language Skills: EnglishEducation:Journeyman Electrician/Technician or equivalent5+ years related experience and/or trainingEquivalent combination of education and experienceJob SkillsRequired:Panel Building and Integration: IntermediateBlueprint Reading: IntermediateRun Conduit: AdvancedPLC Troubleshooting: AdvancedHydraulic Schematics: IntermediatePreferred:Electrical Maintenance: AdvancedBlueprint Reading, Basic: IntermediateEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
