CT Technologist Permanent, Full-Time in WV

CT Technologist
Join a hospital imaging team providing CT services and attentive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Review patient history and physician orders.
- Explain procedures and prepare patients for imaging.
- Perform CT scans and position patients appropriately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope of practice.
- Monitor patients, follow imaging safety and quality standards, and report changes or equipment issues.
- Evaluate image quality and enter and transmit scan results.
Qualifications
- Two-year certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
- Current West Virginia Radiation Operator Certificate.
- ARRT registration in Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to accept on-call assignments and report to the facility within 30 minutes when required.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
