Job Description

• Partner with senior leadership to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign information reporting legislation.
• Apply extensive knowledge of Ch. 3, Ch. 4, Ch. 61, 871(m), and 1446(f) of the Internal Revenue Code.
• Oversee endtoend information reporting processes including withholding, depositing, and regulatory reporting, while understanding tools and systems used in these workflows.
• Address nonU.S. reporting and withholding matters, including tax reclaim processes.
• Represent Corporate Tax in federal, state, and international controversy matters related to information reporting and withholding.
• Conduct advanced research of tax laws, regulations, and case law; provide senior leadership with recommendations and policy interpretations.
• Lead crossfunctional implementation of tax policies, including training, vendor assessments, review of business requirements, and operational alignment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Director - Information Reporting should have:

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in tax withholding, information reporting, or related tax compliance within financial services or public accounting.
• Ch. 3, Ch. 4, Ch. 61, 871(m), 1446(f)
• IRS Forms W8 and W9 documentation rules
• Reporting regulations for Forms 1099, 1042S, and FATCA
• Strong analytical research capabilities with the ability to interpret and communicate complex regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
