Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time)

Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time) Upper Uwchlan Township is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance Department. This part-time position (up to 24 hours per week) is responsible for processing invoices for the Township and Municipal Authority, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing accounting and administrative support to the Finance Department. Primary responsibilities include accounts payable processing, invoice verification, data entry, preparing checks for Board approval, assisting with account reconciliations, maintaining electronic and paper records, responding to resident and vendor inquiries, and supporting annual audits. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment. Qualifications Preferred qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and one to three years of accounting or local government experience. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
