Technical Program Manager (Contract)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) for a contract role based in Denver, Colorado . This is a W2 contract (no Corp-to-Corp or 1099 arrangements). The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of professional experience driving complex, cross-functional technical programs from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of large, cross-functional technical programs, managing scope, schedule, dependencies, and risk.
Partner with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.
Drive planning ceremonies, status reporting, and executive-level communication across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Identify bottlenecks and risks early, and lead mitigation and escalation efforts.
Establish and improve program management processes, tooling, and best practices.

Requirements

10+ years of professional experience, with a strong track record in technical program or project management.
Proven success delivering complex software/technology programs across multiple teams.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and modern technical stacks (e.g., cloud, distributed systems).
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive-reporting skills.
Must be able to work on a W2 basis (Corp-to-Corp and 1099 candidates will not be considered).
Based in or able to work from the Denver, Colorado area.

Nice to Have

PMP, PgMP, or relevant Agile certifications.
Experience in a technical/engineering role earlier in career.
Experience managing programs at scale in a fast-paced environment.
