Patient Experience Specialist Full Time – Savannah, GA, US The Patient Experience Specialist will interact with patients by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The focus is providing timely, accurate information and ensuring patient satisfaction. The role requires efficient conversation skills and the ability to move a phone call forward smoothly. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties / Responsibilities Interact with patients via telephone, text, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on services, doctors, scheduling, and billing. Collect information and schedule new and existing patient appointments for consultations while answering questions about upcoming post‑op visits. Field patient questions and complaints; forward issues beyond current knowledge to the appropriate specialist or team member. Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve patient problems and concerns. Maintain patient accounts and records of interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments using the patient information system. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills / Abilities Excellent communication skills, including active listening. Service‑oriented with the ability to resolve patient grievances. Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new software. Strong relationship‑building skills. Ability to handle multiple calls hourly. Preferred but Not Required Several desirable attributes including prior patient service experience, though not mandatory. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Patient service experience required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
