Kennedy-King College is currently seeking a Full-Time Tenure TrackFaculty for Business. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaches introductory and upper level content courses inmarketing with specialty in digital/social media marketing andmarketing analytics. Leads course and curriculum improvement for new and existingmarketing and management courses. Facilitates the integration aspects of marketing and managementinto more traditional general education courses. Facilitates the integration of marketing and management acrossall general education disciplines. Works with faculty and administrators throughout the districtto create a pathway for student success in transfer and workforcereadiness. Works with secondary school teachers to align content andfacilitate early college transfers through dual credit and dualenrollment. Works with transfer institutions and employers to ensureacademic integrity of the courses and programs. Participates in assessment projects at the departmental andinstitutional levels. Helps students reach their academic, personal, and career goalsand cultivates a safe environment that respects the diversity ofindividuals and ideas by modeling respect for all students andconveying confidence in every student’s ability to learn. Adheres to City Colleges of Chicago board rules, policies,procedures, and code of ethics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree or higher in Marketing or MBA specialization inMarketing. Experience in digital/social media marketing and digitalmarketing analytics. Demonstrated skill in teaching marketing concepts to studentsin various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online). Demonstrated skill teaching marketing concepts to students atdifferent ability levels. Experience in developing innovative marketing curriculum at thecollege level. Minimum of two years of community college and/or universityteaching experience. Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for thecommunity college philosophy and approach to teaching andlearning. Exceptional interpersonal communication and writingskills.

Offered salary will be determined by the respective collectivebargaining agreement and applicant's education.
