You can look forward to these exciting tasks Assist in design state-of-the-art assembly lines, manufacturing equipment, and production concepts to meet internal and external customer requirements Develop and evaluate equipment layouts, technical concepts, specifications, drawings, and manufacturing processes for new and existing production lines Support the design, construction, testing, installation, and implementation of manufacturing equipment from initial concept through production launch Ensure production line and equipment designs meet established requirements for quality, cost, safety, reliability, timing, and performance Analyze existing equipment and manufacturing processes to identify continuous improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, implement new technologies, and ensure successful equipment launches An internal candidate has been identified for this position; however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered This is what you bring to us Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or similar engineering principles Up to 3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably supporting manufacturing equipment, assembly lines, or production processes within an automotive or industrial environment Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment specifications, layouts, and other technical documentation Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment design, continuous improvement principles, and requirements related to quality, safety, cost, reliability, and production efficiency Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, manage priorities, and communicate clearly in English Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.
