Medical Biller Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Receiving and verifying payment information including EOBs and ERAs Preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies and executing claim follow-up with insurance carriers until paid or resolved. Secure necessary medical documentation requested by insurance carriers, patients, and/or legal representation Identify and resolve patient billing complaints Preparing, reviewing, and sending patient statements Evaluating patient's financial status and establishing budget payment plans Performing various collection actions including contacting patients by phone; correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers Posting payments from insurance companies Medical Biller Qualifications: 2 years of medical billing/AR experience in the urgent care/primary care setting Certification in billing and coding is a plus Proficient in medical billing/collection practice Ability to work independently as well as part of a departmental team The ability to resolve conflicts and possesses problem-solving skills Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
