Position Dishwasher Position Requirements Description Job Title: Kitchen Compensation: $17.00 per hour Location: Hermitage Country Club, Manakin-Sabot, VA Reports To: Chef Director of Kitchen Employment Type: Full or Part Time About Hermitage Country Club Founded in 1900, Hermitage Country Club is a private, member-owned club located just outside of Richmond, Virginia. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-in's, dishwasher and surrounding area. Store dishes and other wares in proper area. Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty garbage barrels in dumpsters then wash and reline with new bags. Wash and clean receiving area and trash areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floor. Follow proper procedures for working the dish machine and pot sink area. Perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, put away deliveries, clean coolers, freezers and store rooms. Establish and adhere to food cost goals for banquet functions; take corrective action if necessary to assure that financial goals are attained. Operate food production equipment according to manufacturer's instructions. Maintain highest sanitary standards in all areas. Adhere to state and local health safety in all work areas. Maintain neat and professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times.
