Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Position Summary Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals. Schedule is Monday‑Friday 5:00 am‑2:00 pm or until work is complete. Job Responsibilities Competitive starting wages of $27/hr, dependent on experience. Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements. Conducts interviews, hiring, and training as necessary. Supports safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintains a safe working environment for all associates. Assists with process improvement initiatives. Conducts regular meetings to ensure personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards. Ensures excellent customer service and communication. Receiving: Checks in product completely and accurately. Stocks products correctly. Loading: Pick product for daily deliveries as well as special deliveries. Load trucks using good judgment regarding space utilization and product safety. Returns: Inspect and physically count returned merchandise. Restock inventory in the appropriate place. Outbound freight of vendor returns. Complete paperwork for all warranty products. Unload customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses. Operates power equipment, including forklift. May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste, and/or smell. Must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) may exceed 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by the company except for steel/composite toe boots. May be exposed to weather conditions. Noise level is usually moderate. Fumes from tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants may be present. Qualifications 3 years of related experience. Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers. Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems. Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice. Good memory and scanning abilities. Good communication and math skills. Able to lift up to 65 lbs with proper equipment and climb 20 feet regularly. Able to learn to use a forklift. May require a valid driver’s license and conformance with company driver policy. Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).
