Assists physicians and other health care professionals with a variety of patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O).

Essential:
* Tech/Trade Certification
* High School Diploma or GED

Education specialization:
Essential:
* Medical Assistant
* Emergency Medical Technician

Experience:

Credentials:
Essential:
* Basic Life Support with American Red Cross or American Heart Association 

Education equivalent experience:
Essential:
* Or 2 years on the job validated training.
