Application Specialist

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of application development and support experience
• Experience with MS SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, web parts, and workflow creation
• Strong knowledge of .NET technologies and the SharePoint application services framework
• Experience with SQL development, including stored procedures, complex queries, and data analysis
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and client object modeling
• Experience supporting federal applications preferred
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, and scheduling abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle complex technical challenges
• Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint server portals and enterprise applications
• Support mission-critical applications through configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and user access assistance
• Deploy, upgrade, and patch applications as needed
• Implement and manage SharePoint application services, including Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services
• Develop and manage site content, web parts, workflows, and application capabilities
• Use Microsoft SharePoint Designer and InfoPath to develop solutions
• Work with client object models and service-oriented architecture
• Write and maintain stored procedures and complex SQL queries, and analyze and interpret SQL data
• Provide application support and reporting solutions
• Work with users, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve application functionality
• Maintain application documentation and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot performance, access, and system issues
• Independently resolve highly complex technical problems
