This position primarily cares for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients in a general Med/Surg environment. The RN will provide comprehensive care across medical-surgical, observation, outpatient, swing-bed, and occasional pediatric services while working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Requirements Active Vermont RN License or Compact RN License Minimum 3 years of acute care experience Strong Med/Surg experience Current BLS & ACLS – AHA Meditech experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Must be comfortable caring primarily for adults with occasional pediatric patients Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered Flu vaccination required – no exceptions Credentials must be uploaded 5 business days before start date Reliable personal transportation required Schedule Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 3 × 12-hour shifts 36 hours/week Every other weekend Holiday coverage required No call Travelers start on Wednesdays During orientation week, 48-hour contract travelers are guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start Additional Details EMR: Meditech 13-week travel contract Rural Vermont setting with excellent outdoor recreation opportunities Local housing resources available Traveler is responsible for securing housing Public transportation and rideshare services are not available, so a personal vehicle is strongly recommended W-2 employment No 1099 CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID 299380.
