Sr. Developer

Develop and support web-based applications to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate is a solid Java developer with deep knowledge of eCommerce, who has lots of experience specific in Java application development. Including both design / implementation and both front end / backend.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Application development experience in large scale enterprise environments is essential
• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary, Intermediate to expert knowledge required in the following areas:
  • System development lifecycle
  • System development processes and method
  • Testing methods, including unit and integration testing
• Develop web-based applications
• Provide code reviews to support development
• Perform unit and integration testing with occasional supervision
• Create design documents
• Performs product design & troubleshooting exercises of extremely high complexity which require extensive research and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field and at least 5 years experience in the development of web-based application components
• 5+ years of in-depth experience with Java programming
• Strong knowledge of DBMS and SQL
• 5+ years in building eCommerce platform
• Strong knowledge of search engine
• Experience in building distributed/service oriented/micro-service-style
• Proficient in object-oriented development and Java Enterprise concepts
• Knowledge of industry standard java frameworks, architecture patterns and design patterns.
