Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for a manufacturing company in Glendora.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Understand and apply  GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)requirements.
• Read, understand, and make adjustments to  G-Code and M-Code programs.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, adjustments, and basic program edits as required.
• Inspect finished and in-process components using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Verify component dimensions and tolerances to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Identify and correct machining issues related to tooling, feeds and speeds, offsets, and machine setup.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures.
• Work collaboratively with machinists, programmers, quality personnel, and other members of the manufacturing team.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience :

• At least two years of experience as a   CNC Lathe Operator/CNC Lathe Set-Up
• Experience machining  precision components to close tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret  blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes .
• Knowledge of   GD&T and its application to precision machining.
• Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Shift: Monday – Thursday from 5:00am – 3:30pm

Salary: $25 - $28/hour (Depending on experience)
