Summary Grow with our team as a Network Engineer at Furniture Mart USA in Sioux Falls, SD! This is an exciting opportunity for a self‑motivated individual to grow their career in IT by providing daily IT support to our internal users. Full‑Time: Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Implement and manage network security protocols to protect sensitive data. Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems. Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files. Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning to accommodate growth. Provide technical support and training to staff on network‑related issues. Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement of the network infrastructure. Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Qualifications Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). Experience with network hardware (CISCO, Fortinet). Familiarity with network monitoring tools. Understanding of network security best practices and technologies (e.g., VPNs, IDS/IPS). Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet FCSS, FCP or FCX) are a plus. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
