Overview

Were hiring a Welder to weld, cut, form, and assemble metal components based on blueprints and job specs. This role is hands-on and focused on producing high-quality work in a modern, well-maintained facility.

• MIG Welding
• Read blueprints and job specs to set up machines and plan work
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform cutting, forming, fitting, and assembly of metal components
• Identify defects or machine issues and make corrections as needed
• Perform minor machine maintenance (oil, basic upkeep)
• Clean and prep materials (remove burrs, rust, edges, etc.)
• Follow safety and quality standards at all times

• 2+ years of welding, fabrication or related experience (or relevant schooling)
• Strong blueprint reading ability
• Experience with fabrication equipment and CNC machines
• Comfortable with measurements (standard & metric)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to work independently and on a team

• 1st Shift, 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift
• Daily overtime (about 1 hour per shift)
• Every other Saturday required
• Modern, spacious fabrication shop
• Access to lockers, break areas, and onsite food options

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hobart, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Hobart,IN.
