MRI Tech - Evenings - La Jolla

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied evening shifts, primarily scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Flexibility is required throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. The role also includes participation in an on-call rotation.

This position requires reporting to both Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and AMP.

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
• Experience with Siemens and GE scanners
